The Third Annual Run For The Hills trail race is held in the beautiful panhandle of Nebraska.  This years' race will once again be held at Chadron State Park in conjunction with their annual anniversary celebration, featuring both 5K and 10K trail races as well as a 1-2 mile fun run/walk. This truly is an event for the whole family.  The city of Chadron is only 8 miles away making for an easy stay in town, or you can take advantage of the parks many features including camping and cabins.  Chadron State Park will be celebrating their 98th Anniversary in 2019 and they will be having many activities throughout the rest of the day - plan on bringing the family and staying for the whole day!!!

The race starts and finishes in the Southwest corner of Chadron State Park.  Parking will be available at the junction to the Black Hills Overlook Road.  There will be signs posted to direct you to the start line.  

A Nebraska Game and Parks park pass will be required to get to the starting line of the race.  You can purchase a one day pass with your registration or you can buy one at the park office prior to the race.  Note** The park office won't be open until after the race starts on the 8th.  Please plan accordingly.

7:00 – 8:15 AM – Check-in/Day-of registration

8:30 AM – Races START

1-2 mile trail run/walk – $15
5K trail run – $25
10K trail run – $35
