COMPANY OF RUNNERS cordially invite you to compete in a six-mile celebration of man’s love for all things that go fast – including you.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to self-navigate on an exceptional trail of footpath, bridleway and muddied field in the spectacular Essex countryside around the villages of Rayne and Panfield near to the railway town of Braintree.

As well as bracing the invigorating Spring elements, your circumnavigation will bring you in close proximity with a multitudinous mixture of man’s magnificent machines of speed, power, travel and flight.

This is a timed event with a start window between 9 and 9.30am. Competitors may start at any time within this window.

Please note that there are no checkpoints on the route, just the start and finish at the Bell pub, Panfield.

There will be no entries available on the day, and runners are not permitted to run with dogs under UK Athletics regulations. This event is held under UK athletics rules. A Trail Running Association permit has been applied for. We cannot permit participants aged under 18.

The course is a mixture of surfaces so trail shoes are recommended.

All abilities welcome particularly those new to trail running.
