Welcome to the 2019 Cockatoo & Cupcake Cups, the race where 'everyone has a chance of winning'!

Both races are a handicap start... where the slowest paddlers go first and the fast paddlers chase them down, with the goal of everyone crossing the line at the same time, followed by a family BBQ and plenty of prizes... a great fun way to spend your Australia Day morning!

The Cupcake Cup is short course 7kms
The Cockatoo Cup is long course 14kms
A unique race around the inner west of Sydney Harbour taking in Cockatoo, Rodd and Spectacle Islands.

Early Bird Entries close at 3:00pm on Friday 25th January - race fees only $30 per person.
On the Day Registration is charged at $40 per person.

Paddler Check-in is available from 5:45am, and closes at 7:00am, Saturday 26th January.
Race Briefing is at 7:15am.
Race Start is at 7:30am.

Lifejackets are required to be worn by ALL paddlers in this event.
Leg Leashes are required for all paddlers in this event.
Please be careful when completing your race entry, and ensure you select the correct event/race.

Free off-street parking is available in the local area and at Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre.
PLEASE DO NOT park in the Sailing Club car park.

As it's Australia Day, why not dress up?! Prizes for Best Dressed craft and Paddler... as well as Princess Paddler (last over the line)!
Are you a baker? The Cupcake Bake-off is also back ... bring along your best decorated Australia Day Cupcakes!

**Doubles/OC2s and OC6 crews... introducing Team registrations! There is an option to enter as a Team (rather than individuals) if you want to pay together... 1 person can enter the whole crew (you must click through to the payment page for each person to be able to add the next crew member).
