COMPANY OF RUNNERS cordially invite you to tie off your trail shoes to compete in a splendiferous scramble around the wonderful winter wilds of Lamarsh.

Your challenge should you choose to accept it, is to self-navigate on a five-mile trail course in the Essex countryside around the beautiful Stour Valley, starting and finishing at the Lamarsh Lion community pub which was recently saved from extinction by a group of 400 founder shareholders including one of the Company of Runners directors.

This is a timed event with a start window between 9 and 9.30am. Competitors may start at any time within this window.

Please note that there are no checkpoints on the route, just the start and finish at the pub.

There will be no entries available on the day, and runners are not permitted to run with dogs under UK Athletics regulations. This event is held under UK athletics rules. A Trail Running Association permit has been applied for. We cannot permit participants aged under 18.

The course is a mixture of surfaces so trail shoes are recommended.

All abilities welcome particularly those new to trail running.
