YOU CAN REGISTER DAY OF THE EVENT!

Make sure to wear your glow sticks and lights as we lite up the night on Merchant Street, in Ambridge, for our "Lite up Merchant Street 1 mile dash and Rotary fun run/ walk/ parade" fundraiser!


This run is benefiting the Ambridge Area High School Track and Field team. The run takes place on Friday, January 4, 2019 and begins at 6PM sharp. Remember to dress warm (and bright!) to support your local young track and field athletes.

Plan on bringing your entire family (pets) to the Rotary Fun Run and then line the street to watch the 1 mile dash.

Rotary Fun Run/ Walk/ Parade



Join the Ambridge Rotary club in a fun walk or run down Merchant street past through the historic district.

We invite you to dress up in lights. After the walk find a place along the route to watch the 1-mile dash!

Participants must register to walk. This event is free with an option to donate.

If you do not want to run/ walk but would like to donate, please select the option
"cash no dash" All donations go to the Ambridge Track

1 Mile Dash Information


After the Ambridge Rotary Fun Run/ Walk the 1 mile dash will take place.

Runners will have the option to be placed in Race 1 or 2

Race 1 = If you can run the mile in under 15 mins

Race= 2 if you can run the mile in under 6 mins

Top 3 places will receive in each race will earn a prize.
Top place in each race will receive a cash prize.

The cost to participate in this race is $20

Awards and Recognition will be held at Ambridge H & H basketball courts on 11th street after the last race.

Packet Pick up for runners will start at
5 pm at Old Economy Village Vistors center

The race will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.
