Race 3 of the series, set within the protected confines of Ascot Heath at 9am. (£1.00 admin fee payable on race day). Mainly on closed road, with short sections of shale track. One clockwise (opposite direction to races 1/2) lap of the perimeter track, followed by a dog-leg gentle 150m descent to a level shale track for 100m before heading left for 150m towards the racetrack tunnel, taking a right turn for 100m, to meet, and run down the hill of Churchill Avenue, that bisects the Heath. Running to the bottom of Churchill Avenue before taking a right turn onto the perimeter road once more, for a quarter loop, rising gently uphill to the finish, situated near to the start. Common start with race numbers and accurate timing system.
Race times available verbally within moments of individual finishing, and electronically posted within an hour of race completion. The problems with rain and the timing system from race 2, which delayed posting results, for about 8 hours, have been sorted.
SL5 7LJ - enter the Heath via the slope opposite Royal Ascot Golf Club, proceed through the underpass and up the steps on the left as you emerge from the underpass.
