PLEASE NOTE CHANGE:
There will be NO portage at Point Walter this year, paddle AROUND the sandbank.

There will be a Dash for Cash with two $300 prizes kindly donated by Royal Life Saving WA, given to the first male and female single craft past the Canning Hwy bridge. To qualify for the prize, you must:
Finish the 13km course
Be in a single craft (K1, S1)
Attend the presentations

Presentations 12 noon or earlier if possible

You must be present at presentations to claim your prize.

Buoyancy Aid: All competitors are encouraged to have and wear a lifejacket. All canoes should have positive buoyancy in the case of capsize.

13km Course

Age

This race is organised according to ICF rules so enter the age category you are on the 1st January 2018

Race class constitution:

Male – 4 craft to a class. Female – 3 craft to a class.

Open class will be constituted first in each craft class, and classes constituted by age thereafter.

If paddling a K2 choose the age category for the youngest member of the pair. (eg 20 yr old and 45 yr old choose open).

The exception is one is a junior then choose an Open age category (eg 17 yr old and 45 yr old choose open)

The race organisers reserve the right to combine craft to form a class

Please Note

LP - includes plastic skis

S1- is for composite surf skis (Not made of Plastic)

If you are unsure of your category, enter as Sundry and please email PWA at develop@paddlewa.asn.au and provide craft, gender and age details.

The entry fee includes food and drink voucher
