The Grand Beach SUP Cup is a heart pounding 2km sprint style race with a beach start. In addition to the sprint race, there will also be a team Monster SUP fun race and a Kids short course. This race has different categories for men, women, and board lengths (14′ / 12’6″ and under).

The races will begin at 11:00 AM from the beach in front of the Pavilion 2 H/C Surf shack at Grand Beach on August 11, 2018. Please arrive by 9:30 AM to sign in.

PFDs and whistles are mandatory as per Transport Canada regulations. Most of the waist belt style PFDs have whistles inside with the vest. Double check to make sure you have one. Board leashes MUST be worn at all times during the race or you will be disqualified.

Specific race information packages will be emailed to registrants prior to each race with additional details.

The Grand Beach SUP Cup is part of the Central Canada SUP CUP Race series put on by The Hardwear Co, Hardcore Surf and Paddle Co, and Natri Bros. Great shops that support the sport of paddleboarding in their communities.
