The Cooks Creek SUP Race is an open class race that twists up and down Cooks Creek. The race will begin at 11:00 AM from the boat launch in East Selkirk (East Selkirk Heritage Site) on May 27, 2018. Please arrive by 9:30 AM to sign in.

This race has different categories for men, women, and board lengths (14′ / 12’6″ and under). Boards 14' and over will compete in a 7km distance race and boards 12'6" and under will compete in a 4km distance.

PFDs and whistles are mandatory as per Transport Canada regulations. Most of the waist belt style PFDs have whistles inside with the vest. Double check to make sure you have one. Board leashes MUST be worn at all times during the race or you will be disqualified.

Specific race information packages will be emailed to registrants prior to each race with additional details.

The Cooks Creek SUP Race is part of the Central Canada SUP CUP Race series put on by The Hardwear Co, Hardcore Surf and Paddle Co, and Natri Bros. Great shops that support the sport of paddleboarding in their communities.
