Bocking & Blackwater 3k Fun Run, in association with The Company of Runners

Everyone benefits from being active for their physical and mental wellbeing, that’s why making regular activity part of our resident’s daily lives underpins the Bewell Strategy. The aim of these events is to offer fun family orientated runs/walks to increase people’s physical activity within the natural greenspace areas in Braintree, Entries are encouraged from all abilities of both running and walking and we welcome all family members to take part.

The Livewell Run series is made up two short fun run/walks, You can enter one or both events free of charge.

Bocking and Blackwater nature reserve is located at the bottom of the Fairview estate (Mountbatten Road) and
can be access on foot from most of the cul de sac roads at the bottom of the estate inc. Vernon Way, Gilbert Way, Albemarle Gardens, Orion Way, Alternatively you can access the nature reserve from Rivermede opposite the
College at Braintree or via the public footpath down from Coggeshall road near Marks Farm Tesco (past Deerlap Way) Parking is available at Marks Farm Tesco, or limited parking at the Swiss Bell public House, If you park locally to the event please consider the local residents.
