Wicked Fun Race! - Short Course

In collaboration with NCOCA, O Kalani Outrigger Canoe Club is presenting the WICKED FUN RACE! This spooky event will feature OC1/OC2/V1/Surfski Short and Long courses just off of Alameda Island. Wear a Halloween costume for extra cool points-and get extra, extra points for racing in one! Hang out after the races and enjoy tacos and Faction beer in O Kalani's yard! Tacos are included with your race entry if you register by Saturday, October 21, 11:59 pm. After that, tacos are not guaranteed. Registration/check-in 8:00-9:00AM. Race meeting 9:00 AM. Short Course (@4 miles) race starts 9:30 AM. Long Course (@9 miles) starts 15 minutes following last Short Course finisher (@ 10:30 AM). 12:30PM- onwards tacos and $5 Faction beer served in the club yard. V1/OC1/OC2/Surfski Race Fee: $30 solo, $60 OC2 team, (Junior 19 and under race free) Note for OC2 registration, only 1 paddler needs to register. Costume contest and Award recognition photo op in O Kalani's yard post races (no physical race awards) CASH prizes for best costumes! SAFETY- Leash & PFD are mandatory to participate. (Type II inflatable PFD is acceptable) You must be able to remount your boat in the event of a huli. PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY; NO RACE DAY OR IN-PERSON REGISTRATION.  Registration closes Thursday, October 26 at 11:59 pm, but remember to register early by Saturday, October 21 11:59pm to guarantee your free tacos!
