******IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION****** We will be offering a virtual race, and racers can choose their own start days and times within the 9 day race period, from Saturday January 16- Sunday January 24, 2021. Participants can complete the race as many times as they choose during the race period. All of your attempts will show on the preliminary results--your best overall time will be the official time. The racecourse will be a 10km loop. The 30km racers will complete 3x10km. The 10km racers will complete 1x10km All results, edited or otherwise, will be reviewed by the timing coordinator. SAFETY -Participants are requested to avoid skiing in packs with other skiers or knowingly coordinating their timing attempt with other participants. -Additionally, KSC is recommending that participants wear a mouth/ nose covering that can be engaged when passing other skiers. KSC is following current state and county public health guidelines related to COVID-19 for this event. However, risk of COVID-19 exposure still exists. Your participation in this event of course is entirely voluntary and all participants assume the risk of exposure, which KSC cannot guarantee against. As such, KSC is not responsible for any possible COVID-19 exposure. TIMING Will be managed by each racer's smart phone through the use of the Webscorer app--the racer will scan the QR code that is placed at the start/ finish/ lap area. You can also time yourself with a stopwatch, GPS watch, etc. PLEASE READ THE DETAILED EVENT INSTRUCTIONS -kongsbergers.org -Your registration confirmation email will have specific timing instructions QUESTIONS?
