Race Office

Near the start line, Willoughby Leisure Centre, netball courts, Willoughby, NSW - open from 7:20am – 8:00am on race day.
Race numbers/bibs can be collected during this time. Persons new to Laser biathlon should arrive early to allow time for familiarisation with the equipment.

Volunteer Officials

Volunteer Course Marshalls to kindly register with Race Secretary by 07:50 on Race Day. Course Marshalls briefing at 08:00.

Competitor Briefing: 8:15 am followed by course inspection

Age Classes

Birth years for Men and Women:

Masters: =< 1983
Open: =< 1999
U19: = 2000-2005
U13: >=2006

RULES


1 Bike Helmets must be worn by competitors
2 The course is open to cyclists, dogs, joggers and walkers.
3 Please respect other users of the park
4 Exercise caution as there may be debris on the course such as rubbish, sticks or leaves
5 Any brand of commercially available Skike or roller ski is allowed (classic or skate). No aftermarket wheels allowed.

Individual Format:


Start type will be interval start with 45 second intervals
5 laps of roller-skiing
Shooting: Prone, standing, Prone, standing (in-between each lap)
Course to be set on the day
Time Penalty for each miss
Laser rifles
U13's may use stands.
Arm bands are not allowed.

These Races are conducted under AB rules and by-laws.

CANCELLATION
Should a scheduled race be cancelled, no refunds will be made. AB will apply race fees towards a replacement event.
