COVID19 Requirements

Your online registration for this event will require you to abide by all current Public Health Directions at the time of the event. Social distancing and good personal hygiene practices must be adhered to at all times.

If you have been diagnosed with COVID19 or been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID19 in the previous 14 days from the event you shall not attend the event.

On the morning of the event, stay at home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.

NO race day registrations will be accepted - every person must be registered individually

If the event is cancelled due to COVID19,a full refund will be made available. If you are unable to attend on the day to COVID19 symptoms, a medical certificate would be encouraged to be provided to receive a refund on the barge fees and race nomination only.

**21K Event - Due to the event being held on the island and the associated time restrictions on the day, entrants wanting to run the 21K distance need to have a qualification time under 2:15 for a road half marathon. On course cut off times will be enforced as per below:

* 8K Checkpoint @ Bluff - 1 hour after start - if you have not made it to this checkpoint within the hour, you will be directed to continue on the 14K course.

*16K Checkpoint @ Bluff - 2 hours after start - you will be withdrawn from the event and provided a lift back to the race precinct.

With an anticipated increase in event numbers this year, there will be no option to use the showers at the race precinct at Capricorn Lodge due to water restrictions. The change rooms and amenities will still be available for use.

Please ensure to bring your race registration details on the day, this will be required as your confirmation when arriving at the barge and for your race entry and post event BBQ lunch.
