The NZ Road Relay Champs returns to Feilding and the undulating rural roads of the Manawatu for the first time since 2006



Feilding Moa Harriers and Athletics New Zealand extend a warm invitation to all Athletic and Harrier clubs plus social run/walk teams from workplaces or other sports to join us on Saturday 5th October.

The "Long" (seven person) course is around 67km and the "Short" (six person) course approximately 38km.

As well as the usual Championship Run Grades we are please to have a non-championship Open Walk category at this years event.


Overall Club is determined by the points scored across each clubs three best grade performances - so even if you don't have a gun Senior Mens team, your club could be earn good points from say a MU20, MM50+ and MW50+ teams.

Clubs must be affiliated to Athletics New Zealand in order to enter New Zealand Championship events. Please email membership@athletics.org.nz if you have any questions.

The NINE CHAMPIONSHIP grades

SEVEN person teams, $360/team


1 Senior Men A Grade (17 years+)
(Senior mens teams will be grade into A, B and C once entries have been received)
2 Senior Women (17 years+)
3 Masters Men 40+
4 Masters Women 35-49
5 Masters Men 50+

SIX person teams: $210/team


6 Under 20 Men
7 Under 20 Women
8 Masters Women 50+
9 Masters Men 60+

Non Championship 6 Person Teams


Composite (from more than one club)
Social (unregistered athletes)
Open Walk
