Tairua Trail & Tides 2018

includes 5km / 10km (Single Peak) & 20km (Twin Peaks) courses. All distances have running & walking options.
Tairua is 2 hours from Tauranga, Hamilton and Auckland and it is a great place to come and spend the weekend. The event is a great way to soak up all that our little town has to offer. There is something for everyone whether you come to complete seriously, have something to train for or to get a group together, dress up and have some fun.
All events will start and finish at the Tairua Rugby & Sports Club / Cory Park Domain. Including registrations.

Start times are as follows:


7.30am – 20km Walk
8.00am – 20km Run
8.30am – 10km Walk
9.00am – 10km Run
10am – 5km Run & Walk

Age categories:


Under 20 / 20-39 / 40-59 / 60+

Entry Fee’s:


5km Run & Walk - $10pp
10km Run & Walk - $20pp
20km Run & Walk - $30pp

NB: A late registration fee of $10/entry will apply after Tuesday the 5th November 2018. Late entries will be accepted up until 30 minutes prior to the start of the race time. For personalized race bibs you must be entered before October 31st.

The ‘vision’ for this event was to promote and benefit our beautiful town of Tairua. A portion of the raised fund will go towards the First stage of the Tairua end of the Tairua-Pauanui walkway.
What better way to do that than to get you all out there on our trails.
