Hi Racers! Please read the following information.

PFDs and whistles are mandatory Transport Canada requirements. Note that most of the waist belt PFDs have whistles inside with the vest. CHECK to make sure you have one. If you do not have a whistle, we will have a few for sale at the race ($5 each). Leashes are mandatory for the distance race and recommended for all other races.

Wear/bring clothing/immersion gear suitable for the weather conditions on race day. Bring a change of clothes and keep on the beach or in your car just in case.

TOFINO SUP FESTIVAL AND RACES - Is part of the BC SUP Cup Race Series and the SixPack SUP Race Series of Vancouver Island. This event is brought to you by Tofino Paddle Surf and supported by South Island SUP.

DAY 1 Technical Short Course in small surf to medium surf depending on category (Chestermans).

DAY 2 Distance Course race in active semi-protected ocean environment with a possibility of ocean swell, wind, wind waves and current. Paddlers should be intermediate level and higher for the 6km and 12km distance races. Also there will be a 200m Mini Grom (under 10) race, 1km Competitive and 1km Recreational race, and 200m Sprint Race for Victory (Mackenzie).

Online fees before 6pm on June 15 are $35 (technical), PLUS GST
Online fees before 6pm on June 15 are $15 (1km) and $35 (distance), PLUS GST
Onsite fees are $20 (1km) and $40 (technical, distance), INCLUDES GST

Free for youth 17 and under

**BC SUP Cup points for Men and Women board length 14 feet and under. Youth board length 12'6 and under. **
