Bacon Holler Hustle - Mt Cross & Duathlon


One Day, Two Events, Three Mountains!



Mt Cross includes three XC Mountain Bike distances; beginner (approx 9.5 mi), sport (approx 14.5 mi), and expert (approx 19.5 mi) which cross Wyatt, Flattop, and Brokenback Mountains in beautiful Greene Co, VA. Most of the routes cover steep gravel roads, the final 3.5 miles of each distance end on the Blue Ridge School trail system.

Duathlon includes a 5k (steep!) trail run and 5 mile XC mountain bike, all on the Blue Ridge School trail system (distances are approximate). Registration categories for the Duathlon include High School, Men, and Women.

Pre-registration is $25, registration day-of is $35. All proceeds benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, serving local families out of Gibson Memorial Chapel on the campus of the Blue Ridge School.

This is a good ol' fashion event - there are no official prizes, just a lot of sweat and high fives, all for a good cause.
