Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s inaugural Bank Heist is a hill climb race up our new hiking trail, “Kill the Banker”. One of Revelstoke’s most iconic ski runs, Kill the Banker is located beneath the Revelation Gondola. In the summer, it becomes a serious hiking route that climbs 891 vertical metres from the Gondola Mid-Station up to the Mackenzie Outpost.

Start Time.

Racing starts at 11:00 am. Racers will be started one at a time in 1 minute intervals.

Price:

Entry is a $20 donation to the Revelstoke Community Foundation, payable on the day at competitor check in.

Categories:

M 13-15, F 13-15, M 16-18, F 16-18, M 19 – 39, F 19 – 39, M 40+, F 40+.

Race Packet:

Each Race Packet includes: Lower Gondola sightseeing ticket, Upper Gondola download ticket, extra race energy from Clif, complimentary beer/drink ticket for the Mackenzie Outpost. Participants that register before August 24th will also receive a personalized race bib.

Course Route:

Starting at the Revelation Gondola Mid-station, the course will follow the “Kill the Banker” hiking trail and finish at the Mackenzie Outpost.

Prizes:

Cash prize for the fastest male and fastest female from the Revelstoke Credit Union.There will also be an assortment of random draw prizes for all competitors.

Award Ceremony:

Race results and prizes will be awarded at 2 pm in the Rockford Plaza. Every competitor will go into the draw for a chance to win one of many awesome prizes.
