2023 Run for the Meatball…. LIVE…..SUNDAY FEBRUARY 26th, 2023

This will be a Timed Race

An annual event on the calendar, the Run for the Meatball is a 5 km race that attracts between 80-120 participants. The race begins at 10:15 am for walkers and 10:30 am for runners.

For the Second Year we have a New Race Route.....The race is an out-and-back starting at the RITA STREET PARKING LOT at beautiful Boulevard Lake. We will run down and across the wonderful, wide, rebuilt dam, looping around in front of St. Ignatius High School and returning over the dam back to Rita Street Parking lot.

Registration fee includes a delicious spaghetti and meatball lunch with salad (Meatless Sauce) at the Knights of Columbus Hall (at the corner of Arthur and May Street) after the race (11:30 hall opens, Lunch at 12:00 noon). Lunch will be followed by awards and draw prizes. The event should wrap up just after 1:30pm.

We will also offer a take-out option to pick up your Spaghetti Lunch at 2:00 PM if you don’t want to participate in the live Lunch.

Prizes are awarded for the top female and male and female participants over 50 are eligible for the Kathy Chezick Memorial Award.

All race entrants in attendance are eligible for draw prizes.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday February 22, 2023 at midnight.

Bibs and lunch tickets will be available for pick up at Fresh Air on Saturday February 25 from 10 am to 12 pm. No Race Day Pickup.
