2022 J Bay Surf Fest PADDLEBOARD CLASSIC
JBay Surf Fest- Paddle Board Classic – 17 July 2022 – Dolphin Beach, JBay, South Africa
The inaugural J Bay Surf Fest Paddle board classic is a first of its kind for South Africa and is proud to be run in conjunction with Kouga Municipality, the watersports capital of South Africa and home to the World Famous Jbay open Surf contest.
The Paddle Board classic is designed as a meeting place for two of the oceans toughest sports, surfing and surf lifesaving, competitors to battle it out for R20 000 prize money on the same field. The classic will be run in a 3 round knock out format with the last half of the field being knocked out each round. Entries in the championship events (Open Male and Female) will be limited to 50male and 50 female competitors.
The race will be run on an approximately 2km course making best use of prevailing conditions on the day with start and finishes on the golden sands of Dolphin Beach Jbay.

There will be filler events for the paddlers between 16 and 18 yrs old as wells a masters section for the over 40’s. - Cash entry on the day
