On Saturday, May 30th at 8:30 AM Caught on the NETT (COTN) Rally will take place on the North East Texas Trail (NETT) involving all trail users groups: cyclists (MTB and CX), hikers, runners and walkers.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the NETT among these trail users, promote the towns along the trail and raise funds for bridge repairs and improvements. CASH IS KING! There will be limit free rest stops. Some towns will have a fee for refreshments. Limited SAG and Mechanical support will be provided.

All participants will start in Farmersville at the Onion Shed, just north of the City Park on South Main Street. Equestrians portion of this event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Routes: all routes are Round Trip (RT) Out and Back
10 miles RT to Merit - All Participants supported with free rest stop
Past this route for runners and hikers: be prepared for the distances between towns as there will be no rest stop until you get to the next town.
27 miles RT to Celeste - Cyclists, Hikers, Runners - town amenities
44 miles RT to Wolfe City - Cyclists, Runners - town amenities
62 miles RT to Ladonia - Cyclists - town amenities

If you choose to go further than the listed routes you are on your own. If you choose to camp along the trail you are on your own. This event ends as of 6PM Saturday evening.

ALL YOUTH under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All cyclists must wear a helmet.

Recommend that you come prepared with trail supplies need for your participation interest.

An opportunity to make additional a donation toward trail improvements project will be available when you return. Any amount is welcome.
