Close start to the race with a turn around the pontoon after about 50m! Ginny got away and I was drafting behind Steff for a while. Andrea caught us up so I swapped to draft Andrea before realising, maybe a little too late that I needed to go faster! Pulled away from Andrea after Steff had fallen off my tail. Pushed hard on the second half of the course to make sure I kept a solid second place and overall Veteran's winner in my first race as a UK SUP veteran! Not enough Vets to make a separate category, but very pleased with Overall Second Ladies 12'6.
