What an excellent morning's racing and a great turnout, despite a drizzly start.
Nicky Williams was off the blocks at a blistering pace and recorded 27:03 in a very muddy 5k. Dean Mulcahy and new BCA recruit Claire Lytton showed a clean pair of heels to their band of youngsters. Jacob McKnight was first junior at 43:37 despite being in mud up to his knees!
Kurt Edmonds posted a great 48:07 in the 10k with Julian Howells in 2nd at 52:27 after securing his entry from bed at 08:30h. First female was Joanna Quirk at 59:28 with first junior Kyna Will at 1h:07. Simon Osborne, John Gunn and Martin Reilly managed to run half marathons in error - well done to all who took part.
