The Shark Island Paddler's Rose Bay Time Trial (RBTT)

is an informal get together of paddlers to paddle a mutually agreed course starting at 8:00 am on Sat mornings at Tingira Reserve (cnr  New South Head Road and Vickery Avenue), Rose Bay. At your own the discretion you may record your times on the timesheets provided, and as a free service. These will be recorded and history maintained for members of this site. Results will be made available via Webscorer and email . Coffee at Lyne Park cafe after the paddle is not compulsary, but is recommended!

*RBTT is not a registered club or organisation & as such everyone who participates does so at their own risk. Whilst we all look out for each other you should be aware that paddling is a dangerous recreational activity and injury and even death can occur very quickly.
* If you come on one of our paddles you agree that the persons who decide the course or any of the organisers or other paddlers are not liable for any injury or accident. You paddle at your own risk and must apply your own discretion at all times and not rely on the judgement of the other paddlers.
  * For your own wellbeing you must be aware of NSW Marine regulations and safety guidelines in relation to kayaks & paddle craft including the use of suitable marine lights & safety gear.
*We recommend that each paddler wear a PDF, use a paddle leash attached to the boat and/or paddle, carry flares, a waterproofed cell phone, a wedge to lock the rudder in case of problems, whistle and appropriate lighting front and back.
  *It is recommended that participants carry suitable insurance and join Paddle NSW. They provide you with insurance cover in the event that you cause injury to other people whilst paddling.
