Welcome to the entry page for the Southern Lakes Multisport Clubs WINTER PADDLING SERIES ENTRY.
Enter as many races in the series as you like, all in one go and get organised & committed for your winter paddle training! Note: no further series discount applies, but you do get brownie points :)
Check the box for each race you wish to enter or you can enter each race individually.
Make sure you complete club membership 2026-27 prior to entering online so you receive the 50% discount, bringing your entry fee down to $10 per race. The membership discount will apply to all races as long as you sign up online and click "yes" when asked if you are a member, then use your membership email address to register
NOTE:
As you scroll through each race make sure you click "are you a member" button each time to receive the member discount.
Non-members $20 per race and on the day entries $30 per race. Waka 6 crews are $30 per race or $60 on the day.
Our races this year are based on fastest time but paddlers leave in waves with the less experienced paddlers leaving on the gun & those super speedsters leaving last. Choose your wave during the entry process.

RACES 1-3:Registration: 9am – 9.30 am Safety Briefing: 9.45am – Compulsory for all competitors Race Start: 10.00am
RACE 4:Registration: 8:30am – 9am Safety Briefing: 9.15am – Compulsory for all competitors Race Start: 9:30am
RACE 5:IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GRADE 2 KAYAK CERTIFICATE PLEASE CONTACT THE CLUB;
Registration: 8:30am - 9:45am; Race Briefing: 10am; Start first wave: 10:30am.

Race Categories: Female and Male (doubles or wakas can be mixed)
COMPULSORY GEAR All kayaks are to have air bags fitted and inflated - or sealed hatches Each competitor must have: PFD which must have a foil blanket or bag attached or in a pocket, and a whistle attached Seam sealed kayak jacket or rain jacket (can be worn or carried) In a dry bag, secured in kayak: Polypropylene (or merino) top and bottom Spare hat (polypropylene or wool) Gloves (wool or polypropylene)
