9:00 to 9:30 am: On-site check in at the Range (pre-registering by mail and webscorer is mandatory).
9:00 to 9:30 am: Range set-up
9:45 to 10:30 am: Rifle Zeroing
10:45 am: Race time (first heat)

Competition Site: The MVB Winthrop Biathlon Range is located at Liberty Bell High School on Twin Lakes Road just south of Winthrop, WA.

NOTE: There is no lodge or services at the MVB range. We provide bottled water at the range but there is no food service. As the races run from morning into the afternoon it is a good idea to bring a snack or something to eat.

Safety Protocols: We will be following the COVID safety protocols set by the state and CDC. All races have interval starts, the range will be disinfected frequently and face coverings will be required.

Eligibility: This event is open to all biathlon racers who have completed the USBA Certified Safety Class. For racers under 14 years old, additional shooting training is required. Contact the Chief of Competition at bob.vallor@wabiathlon.org.

Safety Certification: The Mandatory U.S. Biathlon Association safety certification course will be given via Zoom on the Friday before the competitions. If you have already taken the safety course but it has been a few years you are encouraged to go again, as there have been some rule changes in recent seasons.

Range Setup: Early arrival at the range is encouraged help with range/course setup. Please do your part and help with set-up before the event and break-down.

Rifles: Rifles will be available for those without their own - REQUEST USE AT CHECK-IN.

Lodging: There are numerous lodging options in Winthrop and Twisp.
