Saint John Cycling will be hosting a 6 race Short Track Mountain Bike Series at Rockwood Park on Tuesday nights starting June 12th.
Cost will be as follows:
VeloNB Members: $2 per race
Non-VeloNB Members: $12 per race
Pre-registration is required to be completed online by 4pm on the day of the race. You do not have to pay to pre-register, this just allows us to setup and assign plate numbers. Anyone under 18 years of age will require signed parental consent.
Payment and waivers will be collected immediately prior to the race at plate pickup. Riders will need to be checked in at least 15 minutes prior to their race start. Check-in will be located where the Zoo Trail and Sweetness intersect.
Youth Race (U15 & U11):
Youth race will start at 6:00pm. The race will be on the same 2km course as the adult race. Riders will complete as many laps as they can within 20 minutes. The youth portion of the series will start June 26th and run for 4 weeks.
Adult Race (15+):
The adult race will start at 6:45pm and run 45+ minutes. The main event is open to riders who are aged 15 or over (age on December 31st of the current year).
You can get your VeloNB Membership/license at http://velo.nb.ca/membership. Membership is only $30, and will pay for itself in 3 races.

Series points will be calculated for total races (minus a riders lowest finish). For the adult series that would be best 5 out of 6, for the youth series best 3 out of 4. The series may be shortened as needed due to weather cancellations.
Volunteers are welcome to help with timing and act as course marshals.
