Rowing events at the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Club are open water events on San Francisco Bay. Strong and unusual currents and waves, quickly changing weather and visibility and vessel traffic are to be expected. Open water experience is an essential prerequisite for safe participation. The course will be patrolled by race marshals/safety craft.
