Event notes
While Polycystic Kidney Disease is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases to strike both adults and children, Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease is a rare genetic disorder occurring in approximately 1 in 20,000 children.
ARPKD affects both kidneys and the liver. High blood pressure is very common in children with ARPKD. Children with ARPKD also have the liver abnormality called Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis. CHF eventually leads to enlargement of the liver and spleen.
We're taking our fight against PKD to the Chicago Marathon! Join us in raising awareness and supporting research to help End PKD!

TSHIRT guarantee CANNOT be honored after March 3, 2017.
