Event notes

This is an out and back 1/2 Marathon and 5k. The 1/2 Marathon is open to RUNNERS ONLY and is partially on gravel and blacktop. The 5k is for runners and walkers and is on blacktop on a County Road that is not closed for the race. Runners will run at own risk, however the course is heavily marked with signs and also has police presence for crossing Highway 10. All proceeds go to the Highground. The races are the last Saturday in March and the second Saturday in October. Both races were started by Amy Melvin in honor of her Mother, Sandy Greene and her late husband, Shannon Melvin. Thank you for registering and being part of the Highground Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Park.
