Shiner's Revenge 5K and 10 Mile Trail Race

The first annual Shiner's Revenge 5K and 10 mile trail race FINALLY comes to the I.C. Dehart Memorial Park in Woolwine, Virginia. The trail network boasts some of the best singletrack in the east coast. Multiple nationally sanctioned mountain bike races are held each year. Finally the voices that called for a cross country trail race have been heard!!!

Two distances 5K and 10 Mile options are available with CASH!!! CASH!!! CASH!!! Payouts to the top 3 men and top 3 women in the 10 mile race. Overall medals to both distances, age specific medals to both distances. Halloween Costume contest, being it is one of the most festive times of the year we encourage you to race in your creative costume. The most awesome costume (who participates and completes the event) will be awarded a special prize. We hope this becomes the staple trail race in Southwest, Virginia.

At this point the first 50 registrants will receive the awesome event t-shirt designed by my good friend Dwayne Hunter from Dwayne Hunter design company.... If the first 50 fill up quick I will up the t-shirt count. Please feel free to spread the word, encourage your friends, and come support this great event.

100% of proceeds are donated to the Trustee Trail Building Program at the Patrick County Sheriff's Office. The program utilizes low-risk offenders that work with deputies to build trails within our community. The entire trail system used for this race is a project completed by this program. We are confident that you will see the impressive work this program has completed and make this the top priority race in the future.

The race is located at I.C. DeHart Memorial Park, 2631 Charity Highway Woolwine, Virginia... Please arrive 45 minutes before race time to ensure packet pick up/registration. Race meeting at 8:45 a.m., race begins at 9:00 a.m. (for 10 mile and 10:00 a.m. for 5k).
