2016 Belle Sherman 5K and Fun Run Be Active · Get Ready · Help Each Other


The 2016 Belle Sherman 5K and Fun Run is a fundraiser for the Belle Sherman PTA and 5th grade end-of-year trip.

236 runners registered for either Fun Run or the 5K, raising more than $6000 for the Belle Sherman PTA and 5th Grade Field Trip. 181 runners completed the 5K race; times are available here


Where: The non-competitive, non-timed Fun Run circles the playground and remains entirely on school grounds. The 5K is mostly flat on the East Hill Recreation Trail with a quarter-mile hill up (and then down!) Honness Lane. See the

Fees: Pre-registration fees (through April 13th) for 5K and Fun Run are $5 for kids (11 and under) and $15 for everyone 12 and over. Day-of-race fees are $10 for kids and $20 for adults. Students who receive free/reduced-price lunches may enter either race for free; select the "Yes" button below and choose the Alternate Payment Mechanism when checking out to avoid paying.

Results & Awards: 5K results will be made available on Webscorer after the race. Awards go to the first three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 6 and under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12-14, 15-19, 20 and over.

T-shirts: T-shirts can be pre-ordered for $10 up through April 10. Please note you have the option to purchase up to 2 T-shirts along with your registration. You may purchase additional T-shirts for $15 on race day as long as supplies last.

The race is USATF sanctioned. NOTE: Due to USATF regulations, please no bikes, strollers, rollerblades, skateboards, pets, iPods, MP3-players, etc.
