The Olympic Adventure Trail Run (OAT Run) is a one-way trail 12K and half marathon that traverses Kelly Ridge between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington State. The run is almost entirely on single-track trail. Highlights include running through the lush Pacific Northwest forest, a view up the Elwha Valley from the “living room”, stunning water views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca over to Vancouver Island in Canada, and the post-run party at Harbinger Winery.

The cumulative elevation gain is 2,300 feet over the half-marathon course, with 3,100 feet of cumulative descent. The 12K includes cumulative elevation gain of 1,200 feet, with 1,600 feet cumulative descent.

PLEASE NOTE:
* There will be minimal aid stations - runners are expected to be self-sufficient.
* There are no T-shirts - runners get an OAT Run pint glass to keep, and a bbq lunch.
* The half marathon starts at 9:30am. Runners must take the 8:45am shuttle from Harbinger Winery in Port Angeles. The race is limited to 125 people, cost $45.
* The 12K starts at 10:30am, with the mandatory shuttle leaving at 10am. The race is limited to 125 people, cost $35.

A portion of event proceeds are donated to the Peninsula Trails Coalition, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the construction, maintenance, and promotion of the Olympic Discovery Trail and Olympic Adventure Trail.
