Race Info


The 2016 6 Hour of the Dinosaur is hosted by San Angelo Bicycle Association & Friends of San Angelo State Park.
The race takes place inside San Angelo State Park. It uses a 9 mile loop on the north end of the state park utilizing some fast flowy trails. Trails used include: Badlands, Riverbend, Scenic Loop, Shady and of course the famous Dinosaur trail. For more course information see our website 6hourdino.bike

More Race Info


The post race meal on Saturday consist of some amazing flame grilled burgers and dogs prepared by the members of Friends of San Angelo State Park. Dinner will be served from 7:00 - 9:30pm. Each race entry includes one free meal ticket, additional tickets can be purchased when you register online or at the event for $5 each.

More Fun on Sunday


Sunday October 30th
* Costume Crit- Get dressed up and ride some laps in your favorite costumes while spectators pick the crowd favorite.
* Dinosaur Ride- Short guided group ride out to the tracks that give the race and the trail its name. Everyone is welcome to join.

Awards


As usual the 6 Hour of the Dinosaur trophies will be rad. This year we plan to take it up a notch. Trophies will be awarded 3 deep in each category.
In addition to trophies there will be a bib number raffle following the race with tons of great prizes as usual.
