🏆 Entry Fees: Entry fees include AFSS casual membership during the time of the event, forest usage fees, insurance, club costs and admin.

Directions
The event will be held in Strickland State Forest starting at the Banksia Picnic area car park. It's approximately 1.5 km into the forest from the entry at Mangrove Rd. It is a dirt road and accessible with a standard vehicle.
There is plenty of parking available.

Distances
Short Course: 4.5 Km - Distance set on day subject to change (especially if it's been raining heavily).
Long Course: 9.3 Km - Distance set on day subject to change (especially if it's been raining heavily).
Race Information
📍 Bib Collection / Registration: Sunday 10th August from 7:00 - 7.45 am
📣 Compulsory Race Briefing: Sunday 10th August 7:45 - 7.50 am
🏁 Event Starts: Long Course Start 8.00 am
Short Course Start 8.20 am
✨Award presentation will be held shortly after racing concludes on Sunday, once all times and placings are compiled.
Mandatory Equipment
Equipment: A basic canicross setup of harness, bungee leash, and belt is required to be used as per the AFSS rules and regulations.
Spare items are available to borrow, please ask before the event so as we can have ready.
On-Site
🚻 Amenities: Drop toilets available at race HQ
💧 Water: BYO water for yourself and your dogs
♻ Leave no trace: Clean up after your dogs to help preserve future access
🐕 Dog Policy: Dogs must be leashed or secured at all times.
💉 Vaccination Requirement: All dogs, whether racing or not, must be vaccinated to a minimum of C3.
Bring vaccination certificates or compliant titre tests. Spot checks will be conducted as per AFSS rules.
