Novice Tour of Manawatu hosted by Bike Manawatu
In 2026 it is again a 2 day, 4 stage tour held within the Manawatu region. We will be based out of Halcombe for the x2 Road Races, 1 x Hill Climb & an ITT.
Entry Fees & Age Grades
Riders will be racing on their 2026 Cycling NZ license and age grade.
The event is open to riders in School Year 5 and above.
Grade is based on your age as at the 31st December 2026.
$60 Under 13 = 12 or younger
$70 Under 15 = 14 or younger
$80 Under 17 = 16 or younger
$90 Under 19 = 18 or younger
Prices listed above are our Early Bird pricing. From Thursday 23rd July an additional $10 will be added to the entry fee.

Call for Volunteers
The Novice Tour relies on the support of volunteers in various roles, such as drivers, marshalls, Sprint & KOM/QOM judges, etc.
If you are available to help out, even if it is just for one of the stages, please register here VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION and we will be in touch to assign a role and time that works for you. Thank You!
This year, volunteers will receive FREE entry to the Hill Climb (Stage 2) and Time Trial (Stage 4)! Simply register via the above link and choose the stage(s) you would like to compete in.
