When entering in the Windy City Downwind event, you are accepting and agreeing to the following event waiver. I/We, accept the conditions of entry on this website in the knowledge that is an inherently challenging activity. I/We have read all information and understand the risks, demands and dangers involved in the event. I/We take full responsibility for my/our fitness, experience and actions and all personal possessions and equipment during this event. I/We understand that withdrawals up to three weeks prior to race day will be fully refunded, minus a $10 admin fee, but that there are strictly no refunds within three weeks of race day. I understand that if th event is cancelled/postponed because of circumstances outside of the organisers control such as COVID alert levels or extreme weather there will be no refunds. I/We authorise my/our personal details, voice and picture to be used in any capacity without payment by the organisers and/or sponsors and/or partners of the event. Therefore I/we and my/our kin, heirs and executors of any estate hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organisers, directors, sponsors and all other persons associated with the event in whatsoever capacity of any liability, claims or damages relating to financial loss, personal injury, loss of or damage to any equipment, or any other matter or claim arising from the event.
