2026 Run for the Meatball

2026 Run for the Meatball…. LIVE…..SUNDAY March 1st, 2026 This will be a Timed Race An annual event on the calendar, the Run for the Meatball is a 5 km race or Walk.  The race begins at 10:15 am for walkers and 10:30 am for runners. The race is an out-and-back starting at the RITA STREET PARKING LOT at beautiful Boulevard Lake. We will run down and across the dam, looping around in front of St. Ignatius High School and returning over the dam back to Rita Street Parking lot. Registration fee includes a delicious spaghetti and meatball lunch with salad (Meat and Meatless Sauce) at the Knights of Columbus Hall (at the corner of Arthur and May Street) after the race (11:30 hall opens, Lunch at 12:00 noon). Lunch will be followed by awards and draw prizes. The event should wrap up just after 1:30pm.  Prizes are awarded for the top female, male and Non-Binary. All race entrants in attendance are eligible for draw prizes. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday February 26, 2026 at midnight. Bibs and lunch tickets will be available for pick up at Fresh Air on Saturday February 28  from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. No Race Day Pickup.
