2026 FAT BIKE Race series
Weather related make-up day - Sunday February 1st (same time).
Min 3.7" tires required. You must ride a fat bike.
No membership is required
Location: Chris and Suzanne Jones Property 2875 Oliver Rd.
$10 race fee with all net profits going towards the cost of trail grooming for the race venue.

Course open for pre riding at 10 am. Please car pool if you can as parking is limited.
We will be starting the first group at 11:45. Staggered starts for each category. ~ 1-2 minutes appart.
All racing should be done by 1:15 pm.
Lap races lasting a maximum of 1-1 1/4 hour for Cat 1-2 and 45 minutes for Cat 3-4.
It is estimated that each lap will be ~4km in distance.
Cat 1: Racers will to the maximum amount of set laps on the course with a maximum estimated race time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Total laps will be determined the day of the race based on the condition of the course. Cat 1 Racers would typically compete in the Elite category during the Blacksheep mountain bike races.
Cat 2: Racers will do one lap less than the Cat 1 race group and will start 1 minute behind the Cat 1 group. Cat 2 racers would typicall compete in the Advanced category during the Blacksheep mountain bike races.
Cat 3 & U14: Racers will do one lap less than Cat 2 and will start at the same time as the Cat 2 group. Cat 3 racers would typically compete in the Sport category durign the Blacksheep mountain bike races.
