Mass Start by Age Group Format Biathlon Race, Course length subject to change based on snow conditions

12K, PPSS - Age 15 - Adult 150 M Penalty lap
6K, PPPP Age 13 & 14 (U15) 75 M Penalty lap
6K PPPP at standing targets (no blocks), 12 and Under (U13), 75 M Penalty lap

P = Prone shooting, S = Standing shooting

NOTE: There will be NO same day registration. Payment due at registration race day.
This is an OPEN race for USBA "Red Book" safety certified biathletes and youth in a USBA biathlon program. U15 and U13 biathletes will not be carrying a rifle. Competitive U15 biathletes are encouraged to race up in the U19 age group.

$20 Ariens Nordic Center event fee for all participants
$10 for Youth through 21 payable to Blackhawk Ski Club
$20 Adults over 21 payable to Blackhawk Ski Club

A "Competitor" level annual USBA membership or USBA "member for a day" is required to cover race liability insurance.

WI Biathlon welcome the participation of Adaptive Athletes! Please sign up as appropriate to your age and contact Mark Torresani via email prior to starting the race concerning your distance and categorization preferences.

IMPORTANT:

Bring exact cash or check for payment to event payable to Blackhawk Ski Club. Parent must accept waiver for minors.

If you require USBA "Membership For a Day" for this event, please purchase online with the USBA prior to the race. Do not show up to this race without some form of USBA race membership.
