Welcome to the TakeAim DownDuro Race Series! *Lift ticket is NOT included with entry. Use your season pass or purchase a day pass online through Bryce Resort (use coupon code downduro to receive a discount).
Race format: Each race will be held on a different course. Each racer will do 2 race runs on the designated course. Both times will be combined for one overall time to determine placings. Ride the lift back up between race runs. *Plan on being up top at least 15 minutes before your race times. The course for this race is Snakebite with a super fun ski slope ending!
Your racing age is your age on December 31, 2023
Full Faced helmets are required.
You will receive a custom race number plate at your first race. Keep this and use it for any/all additional races for the series. IF you lose it, please make your own replacement using the same number.
Race Day Schedule: Check in: 9:00 - 11:00 Practice: 10:00 - 12:45 Race starts: 1:00 Podium: time will be posted on race day.
***REFUND POLICY*** We will issue refunds (minus $10) up to one week before the race date. During the last week, refunds will only be offered if your spot can be filled from the waiting list. In addition, you will be allowed to make one free transfer (for the series), to an alternate date. The request needs to be made no later than one week before race date. If the request is made during the last week, it will be honored only if your spot can be filled from the waiting list. No refunds/transfers on or after race date.
***Inclement Weather Policy*** Rain will not cancel the race; however, we reserve the right to cancel or suspend for extreme weather conditions. If Bryce goes on hold, then so will we. We will evaluate after the hold and resume if possible. A class will be considered complete and placed if only one run was timed.
