2023 Eildon to Alexandra Classic River Race, Back Eildon Road, Eildon, Victoria

This race has two stages: Eildon to Thornton (14 km) and Thornton to Alexandra (20 km). Paddlers can do one or both stages.

Stage 1 - Eildon to Thornton (14 km)
8.45am Registration opens at canoe launch ramp below the Eildon Pondage Wall.
9.30am Pre-race Briefing
10.00am START
10.45am to 11.30am. All participants expected completion time at Thornton.

Stage 2 - Thornton to Alexandra (20 km)
11.30am Registration opens at Thornton
11:45am Pre-race Briefing
12.00pm START
1:15pm to 2:00pm. All participants expected completion time at Alexandra.

2:30pm Presentations and spot prizes at Finish Line.

NOTE:
* Stage 2 Start and Finish times may be delayed depending on river levels and participant numbers.
* Each paddler must register (if you are paddling a double, both paddlers must enter)

Safety: Wearing of an approved life jacket/PFD is mandatory for this event. Wearing an approved helmet is required for Stage 1 and may be required for Stage 2, depending on conditions. All paddlers must have one available and must wear it if directed.
