Welcome to Round 2 of the Gravel in Paradise Series 2023. This iconic event, the 'White Rocks' offers a roller coaster course showing off some of the best vistas of North Otago. Wide panoramic views of the Waitaki and Kakanui Mountains is a feature with some thrilling downhill sections. Starting and finishing at Elderslie Estate, Enfield, Oamaru. There are four classes to enter: Ride Strong (Farming community in conjunction with Farmstrong), E-Bike (non- competition), Gravel 2-Community class and Gravel 1-Championship class. The Gravel 1 Championship class is the long course, 65km, and all other classes are over the 46 km circuit. There are three age groups under each class, 20 years and younger, 21 years to 49 years and 50 years and over. Sign on will be from 9-30am-10-15 am, Race briefing at 10-30am and mass start at 11am. Prizegiving will be at the finish on Elderslie Estate post event with medals for all classes and age group categories excluding E-Bike class. 'Tiger' Rowlands trophy for the first male and female in the Gravel 2-Community Class. Spot prizes kindly donated by Hub and Sprocket and Martyns Cycles.
