PV Marathon regional races

The idea of these events is for paddlers to be able to participate in one or more existing organized events in a location close to home. Paddlers participate under the terms and course format of the event they choose to attend. There is no entry fee for participation in these events. Paddlers need to abide by Victorian state paddling laws and regulations and the Paddle Australia code of conduct. Race results will be published by each of the existing event organizers as per their normal practice. There is no requirement to register with PV Marathon for this event.

Example of events include:
- Bendigo Saturday afternoon time trial, Lake Weeroona
- Echuca Moama Best Little Handicap Race in the World, Wednesday evening, Murray River, Echuca
- Footscray Distance Handicap, Wednesday evening, Maribyrnong River, Footscray
- INCC Sunday Club Doubles, Yarra River, Fairfield Park
- Goldfields Paddlers, Crusoe Reservoir
- MMCC Sunday time trial, Gateway Lake, Wodonga

Please note PLCC is not participating in this initiative.
