With the holiday season, and the year wrapping up, we wanted to host one more event.. We will return to the East Puyallup Trailhead (Near Farm 12 and Van Lierop Park) for a 5k, half marathon and marathon event. For those who wish to participate, we will also have a holiday tree that runners can put a gift under, and when they complete their run, pick a random gift from! The intent of the gifts is a no-contact white elephant exchange so bring those unwanted, unusual or just strange things.

5k, 10k and half marathon will be out and back, and we are looking at routing for the full marathon option that will work best. (Currently looking like a double out and back)

For our Challenge, runners can do the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k in one day, earning bonus medals for each distance completed!

We will continue to use rolling waves of runner, limiting waves to 5 persons, and asking that runners select a 15 minute block they wish to arrive and begin their run from. As soon as we have 3-5 runners ready to go within that timeframe, we will launch a small wave, but we will buffer the waves by several minutes to comply with covid safety requirements.
