Get ready kids, cuz we’re coming in HOT for the annual CHESTNUT SCORCHER Kids Race!

Presented by Gator's Bike Park and COMBO, this event focuses on providing a fun and relaxed environment for kids racing.

With music, fun, and high fives, the Chestnut Scorcher is a great season opening race and one you won't want to miss!

Balance

Sport course description:
Race course is ~ 1.8 miles long and more challenging than the beginner trail at Alum Creek due to elevation changes. Riders must be proficient at shifting gears, climbing, and descending with control. Riders are expected be able to finish the lap within 20-25 minutes. This course is appropriate for our Rippers and higher level Shredders who are extremely comfortable on their bike and have a solid grasp of the fundamentals. Age is limited to those 9 and up.

Novice Course:
Varies in length by age and is appropriate all riding abilities.

Event check-in will start at 9 am and the race will start with the Balance group at 9:30am, followed by the youngest Novice riders, and then the advanced oldest riders. Exact start times cannot be given as it is dependent on registration. Please listen to the PA announcements for when to stage for your race. Podiums will be from 11:30am - 12:00pm.

Parking for this event will be available at the Chestnut Ridge MTB Trailhead (5260 Mason Rd NW, Canal Winchester 43110), but it will be limited
