2021 WA Nordic Cup Race #1-
Sunday, 2/7 - Classic Race


Plain Valley Nordic Team will be hosting 3 WA Nordic Cup inter-team time trials that are not open to the public. These will all be Covid Compliant.

COVID RACE GUIDELINES
* Masks are required. Racers may pull down mask after the start of the race. Racers must replace mask when they enter the finish area.
* WA Nordic Cup Races are not open to the public this year. Families of racers must wear masks and stay within family groups only within the designated spectator area, spaced 8 feet apart along the fence outside the race course.

Plain Valley Ski Trails

*Please park in Meadow Loop Parking area located directly across the street from Plain Hardware.

RACE DETAILS
All races will be Classic technique. It is important that athletes inspect and ski the course prior to their race.

AWARDS & SCORING
No awards will be presented this year; however, these races will be scored using Washington Nordic Cup Guidelines.

To be scored as a participant in the WNC Series, skiers must follow the below distance guidelines:

5.2 km - Race open to all ages. Scoring for U16, U18 and U20.
2.6 km - Race open to all ages. Scoring for U12 and U14.
1 km - Race open to all ages. Scoring for U8 and U10.

RACE SCHEDULE
11:00 am: Course inspection & Race Number Pick-up
12:30 pm: 5.2 km Race
1:00 pm: 2.6 km Race
1:30 pm: 1 km Race

REGISTRATION
Free! Please register online by 5 pm, Friday, February 5th. NO Same-Day Registration.
