What is the Plain Valley Nordic Team?
PVNT is a ski team for youth, sponsored by Plain Hardware, Plain Valley Nordic Trails, Plain Valley Adventure Women, and our Plain community. Our focus is to have fun while learning to cross country ski. We teach for all skill levels, both classic skiing and skate skiing techniques. Skiers have the opportunity to race locally, regionally and nationally.
Who can join the Senior Race Team?
Skiers who have demonstrated the dedication and skill needed are invited to the Senior Race Team by Head Coach Pierre:
Invited athletes: Jaxon Coble, Jackson Douglas, Silas D'Atre, Lien Hagedorn, Quinton Koch, Caroline Menna, Isabel Menna, Peter Norby, Thatcher Pate, Buster Richardson, Kyler Saugen, Micah Saugen, Olaf Saugen, Serenity Saugen, Ingrid Sorensen, Trygve Sorensen, Jed Stay, Easton Steinhauer, Owen Steinhauer, Elsa Swart, Ezra Swart, Morgan Thomas-Boyes, Elliot Tiegel, Elijah Walker and Tarin Worden
What is included in a Team Membership?
Skate and classic skis, boots and poles.
Team jacket for the season.
Team race suit for SRT and most ADT.
Plain Valley Nordic Trails Season Pass.
Transportation to practices and races.*
JNQ Race entry, lodging, food and transportation costs covered. *
*As state guidelines allow
Where will the ski team practice?
The team will ski primarily on the Plain Valley Nordic Trails, across the road from Plain Hardware.
When are practices?
November 2, 2020 - March 4, 2021
