PLEASE NOTE
Due to COVID-19, there will be no bbq provided at the Paddle Challenge in the interest of hygiene. A briefing will be conducted but competitors are reminded to follow social distancing measures where possible.

Registrations close midnight (WST) 4th of June 2020. Late entries will not be accepted, no entries on the day.

Check-in: 7:00 – 7:45am
First grid will start at 8:15am.

THE COURSE
The 18km long course will be the main target for many paddlers training up for the Avon Descent this year.
Other courses available include the 11km short course, 6km novice/guppy/SUP course & a 3.5km guppy/SUP course.

COST
Please note: $0.05 has been added to each fee so payments to PWA can be identified as a race entry fee.
Team boat competitors must enter individually and state their partner(s) names
Adult single: $20.00 for PWA members & $40.00 non-PWA members
Junior single: $15.00 for PWA members & $25.00 non-PWA members
Guppy single: $10.00 for PWA members & $20.00 for non-PWA members

CLASSES
Age categories are sorted according to ICF rules, the age you were on the 1st January 2020.
Race class constitutes: Male – 4 craft to a class. Female – 3 craft to a class.
Open class will be constituted first in each craft class, & classes constituted by age thereafter.
The race organisers reserve the right to combine craft to form a class.
NB: prizes given to those who beat a craft in their class (no 3rd if only 3 racers).
